Summer Intensive Revision Course for the Gloucestershire GL 11 Plus Exam
Due to popular demand, we are very pleased to be able to announce the return of our revision course that takes place in late August. The course aims to revise and fully prepare children for the GL 11 Plus Exam that takes place shortly after the course ends. This course was launched a few years ago and proved both very helpful and popular with children in the final stages of preparation for the exam.
Key information:
4 day course Tuesday 19th August, Wednesday 20th, Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd August
Aimed at Year 5 pupils (going into year 6 in September 2025) sitting the GL 11 plus exam.
All new course materials not previously used in classes
Covering all core areas (English & Verbal Reasoning, Maths and NVR)
Courses taught by Philip our Head Tutor.
Children shall be supported with exam technique and be introduced to brief mind well-being strategies such as mindfulness, brain gym exercises and relaxation to support in managing any nerves and to boost concentration and focus.
Children may also be assisted on the course by a Pate's Grammar School pupil who has previously studied with 11 Plus Tutoring Academy.
Revision of all key concepts
Course times 9.30am - 4.30pm daily (1 hour total breaks each day with 15 mins mid morning and 30 minutes for lunch) 24 hours course.

Location Cheltenham (St Lukes Church Hall, St Luke's Place GL53 7HP)
Cost £400 (Similar local courses are more than twice the price). Payment in 2 instalments is possible. Prices of our summer intensive course and mocks have been held constant for many years now. Childcare vouchers or Tax Free Childcare payments also welcome. Please advise if paying by this method.
Places are strictly limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis and are reserved using the form via the link below.
Places are also available to external pupils not currently with 11 Plus Tutoring Academy. Referrals of external pupils will entitle you to a free mock exam.
Reserve your child's place - PAYMENT CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BEFORE APRIL 1st. Reservation using the form will hold a place until April. After April, places are allocated based on payment receipt. Please note that the course sells out every year.
